Welcome to Speakly. These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern the access and use of the Speakly web platform and related services. By registering, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.


1. Definitions

Speakly or we: Refers to Speakly, the online education platform that offers language classes.

Platform: The web application, interfaces, and technological services provided by Speakly.

User or you: Any person who accesses or uses the Platform.

Account Owner: The adult user who creates and administers a Speakly account, including payment and sub-profile management.

Sub-profile: An additional profile created within a main account, intended for a student (who may be a minor or adult).

Student: The person who receives language classes through a profile or sub-profile.

Teacher: The language instructor who provides educational services through Speakly.

Class: A 30-minute language teaching session conducted online through ClassIn.

Package: A set of classes purchased by the Account Owner, available in blocks of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 classes per language.

ClassIn: The third-party platform used for live class transmission.


2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1. By creating an account, making a payment, or using any Speakly service, you confirm that:

4.1. Service Description

Speakly offers online language classes in the following languages:

Each class has a duration of 30 minutes and is taught through the ClassIn platform.

4.2. Free Classes

Welcome Class: Each new account receives 1 free welcome class, valid for 15 days from account creation.

Bonus Classes: Depending on the purchased package, 1-2 bonus classes may be granted linked to the purchased package language.

Free classes not used within their validity period will automatically expire and will not be refundable.

4.3. Technical Requirements

5. Packages, Payments, and Billing

Classes not used within their corresponding validity period will automatically expire without right to refund. We recommend scheduling your classes in advance to make the most of your package.

Expiration Notifications: You will receive automatic reminders when your package is about to expire, allowing you to renew or schedule remaining classes in time.

You can access your complete transaction history and download receipts from your account at any time.


6. Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling of Classes

6.1. Class Scheduling

You can schedule classes up to 30 days in advance according to teacher availability. Classes are scheduled in 30-minute slots.

When scheduling a class, 1 class is deducted from your balance of the corresponding language.

6.2. Consolidated Calendar

The Account Owner has access to a consolidated calendar that displays all scheduled classes from all sub-profiles, with filters to facilitate management.

6.3. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel any scheduled class up to 30 minutes before its start without penalty:

7.1. Initial Placement Test (IPT)

The Initial Assessment Report (IPT) is available only to users who have purchased a class package.

After taking your welcome class and having completed the purchase of a package, our goal is to deliver this report within 48 business hours. The report includes:

Reports and evaluations are property of Speakly, but are granted to the student for personal and educational use. They cannot be reproduced, distributed, or commercialized without authorization.

Speakly will not be liable for breaches caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, pandemics, Internet failures, government actions, etc.

Provisions that by their nature must survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, etc.) will remain in effect after agreement termination.
